Booking & Cancellation Policy

General Information:
• In the interests of public health and safety, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building. Cameras operate 24/7. Offenders will be asked to vacate, matter reported and guests’ blacklisted.
• This motel has a strict No Smoking/ No Cooking policy in the rooms. A penalty of $250-00 will be charged to you/your account for extra cleaning, deodorising and loss of income if this is not adhered to.
• Check-in time is 2.00 P.M and check-out is strictly 10.00 A.M. An estimated time of arrival would be highly appreciated. Please arrange with reception if arriving outside this hours.

Booking Deposit:
To confirm a
• single or multiple night stay;
• a special event booking, or
• any or all public holiday period, such as Easter, ANZAC, School holidays or Christmas ETC then;
A deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation is required for each room booked.
The deposit can be paid by credit card over the telephone or by cheque made payable to ‘Econolodge City Square’. Note: If a deposit cheque is not received within 7 days prior to check-in, then that booking will be cancelled. However, we will attempt to contact you.
• If you change or upgrade the booking from a single room to a double, twin, triple or family room, then the extra accommodation charge will be added to your account at the applicable room rate.
If the change is from a double, twin, triple or family to a single, then the first night’s accommodation will be at the original rate but subsequent nights will be at the lower, single rate.

Cancellation Policy:
• We understand that you might need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
• If a cancellation is less than 48 hours before check-in, the deposit payment will not be refunded.
• If the cancellation is 7 days or more before the check-in date, your deposit will be refunded on the credit card used in making the booking or paid by cheque in the name of the individual or the company. However, administration fee of $28 will be charged to cover any costs related with your booking, such as bank fees and charges, telephone calls, facsimile transmission costs, postage and of re-letting.
• Notification must be made by email. However, for companies, only email notification of the cancellation will be accepted. The notification must clearly identify your company, the travel representative making the cancellation, the tour group number, name and the date(s) booked.
• We will acknowledge receipt of the cancellation and if required will confirm by, email..
• If an individual or group does not arrive for a booking by 8pm, we will attempt to contact the individual by telephone. If contact is unsuccessful, any remaining nights of the booking will be immediately cancelled. The deposit payment paid will be forfeited.
